Default Plains of Jarin farming HM

When farming Plains of Jarin HM with this build:

http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:E/...ah_Heat_Farmer

how do you counter the health degen from the fanged Ibogas? The termites are no problem, but the health and movement degen from these things always kill me. I can't seem to get them to group up either. Is this build even good for this? It seems to work decent, but if there are any better ones, it would be appreciated. I only have Prop and NF, so I have to substitute for any Faction skills. Thanks.

There's no interrupts so swap Glyph of Concentration for Aura of Restoration.

Or spec some healing and put in Healing Breeze or Mending.

I personally prefer Sliver Armor builds out there, but whatever floats your boat.

55 SoJ works great out there btw. If you don't have Factions I'm pretty sure you don't have Sliver Armor so there goes that...

That is a thought. I could swap out for mending, and it would help counter it some. Don't know if it would be enough, but I'll try tonight. I don't have Factions so Sliver Armor is unavailable to me. Sigh.

You may try [skill]Restful Breeze[/skill]Most of your skills have a long recharge, and Restful Breeze requires fewer points in Healing than HB or Mending.

This build kills bugs very very fast, can kill ibogas, and a full run even running all the way north through the river to the back of the Sunspear Great Hall takes me about 15 min...

That new build is awesome. He says you shouldnt take too many on at once, but if you are good enough with sb, you can take on large groups. Even killing only small groups at once (which yeilds more/better drops), you kill so fast with nearly zero downtime between fights...

anywhoo, as far as ele builds, the build you highlighted in general... its slow, and the suggestions so far to counter degen is about all u can do. You cannot clump the Ibogas because you cant pull them with Crippling Anguish on you. Avoid them with that build, or slowly dmg them one by one... I'd just go with the build i linked too.

anywhoo, GL!
cheers.

Try this one: OgpjkwM5aO8wSxX1VwepFpCSBA
This build is capable of killing erverything in the Plains of Jarin, if you take Ward of Stability you can even kill the Stormseed Jacaranda. Corsairs work too =D

i'm sorry, is there anyway you could tell me what skills are in that build? I'm at work right now and am interested in seeing before I get home. Thanks.

Thank you much. That would be better, but I don't have factions. I guess I'm going to have to get it, since all builds seem to lead to Sliver Armor.

For that build, there is no need to have 12 Earth Prayers. With only 8 in Earth Prayers you still get a +3 Regen from Mystic Regen. Take points out of Earth Prayers and put more into Earth Magic. :-D
